"And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden"....
Where just yesterday there were three, now there stands one...
In our front yard we have been shaded by these three trees. An Oak, a Pine, and a Cedar. They say you can tell the age of a tree by the rings in the trunk.
Thank you God, for the shade you gave us from these trees. For the times our children and grandchildren played under them. Thank you for providing homes for the many birds that built their nests and had their baby's in these trees. Thank you for the pinecones, thou we complained a lot, you used them to feed the squirrels and the deer that wondered in our yard. Thank you for keeping them standing during so many countless storms and not falling on our home or harming us. Thank you for loaning us these trees all these years.
This large Oak will have a big job to do now.
