ROUND TWO BEGINS!
As most of you who follow me know that Efudex is the brand name for fluorouracil, sometime referred to as 5-FU; another brand name is Carac. Technically, these drugs are in fact chemotherapy, but they won’t make you nauseous or cause you to lose you hair. What they will do is make the treated area of your skin look and feel completely miserable for several weeks. This is the part that I am nervous about most! I really am dreading the burning, the itching, the oozing sores, the redness, the sleepless nights, and the scabbing! But, I will look at the positive side and say " take that you pre-Cancer!"
Well, here I go....You will have to check in on my cancer journal for random updates which will be towards the end of that page. I will post randomly this round and provide photos now and then. Wish me luck...I will need it!
