Your Papa and Nana soon were watching you roll from corner to corner on our living room floor, then months later getting up on your knees and trying so hard to crawl, and finally seeing you take those first steps. You have grown out of diapers, clothes, and shoes. You shared your birthdays, holidays, and occasionally a sleep over with us. You amaze us with your gift of knowledge that is way beyond your years and we couldn't be any prouder. We saw every dance recital and wouldn't have missed them for the world.
There isn't a day that goes by that I don't thank God for you and the joy and love you fill my heart and life with. I thank God for your good health, his love for you, and his Angels to always watch over you.... And God does!
We have watched you grow up but also have watched your Christian up-growing, learning about God in Sunday school and Church. We smiled ear to ear while tears ran down our cheeks as you walked down the isle and asked God to come into your heart....And God came!
Your Papa and Nana witnessed your Mother and your Aunt make that same walk to follow God and we thought are hearts would burst with the love and joy we felt when they did. This past Sunday as we sat in the Sanctuary and waited again for you to be born through baptism, your Papa and Nana felt those same feelings, something most Grandparents don't get to witness. This time your name was not written on a birth certificate, it was written by God himself in the Book of Life, never to be erased....and God did!
