Unclogging my Dam

A Beaver builds his dam to protect his home from predators and to have easy excess to get food during the winter. A human builds his shield around his life and store away all their thoughts to themselves for safe being.
The unspoken words and thoughts in our mind sometimes can make our brain feel like it will explode, like the Beavers dam when the water starts to rush through the unclogged logs . Our thoughts come flowing out into conversations shared with others.  We share our daily comings and goings with our friends and family and even strangers through technology. But what about all the stranger's we pass in real life everyday? We talk to people at the store, the gas station, the bank. We pass by strangers on the street and in crowds at the malls and never speak a word to them. Our own thoughts in our mind are busy and get clogged and  are kept to ourselves.
I can truly say that I have talked to people everyday who I will never talk to in person, or ever meet face to face. I use social network, I write a blog, and I am always in contact with strangers in my genealogy research. I have found some friends for perhaps life that I would never have met otherwise had it not been through my computer. Did God cross our path's? I think so! God knows who we will talk to each day, before we ever awake in the morning. He may keep it small, sometimes just my family. Some days he mixes in a neighbor, or that bank teller, and even a wrong number on the phone. Some days my Dam explodes more than others through what I write  and share or even in the strangest places like in a swim aerobics class among friends. For what ever reasons or where ever it is at the time, these are the moments in my life that, like the Beavers dam, I  need to just get unclogging.

  1. "Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares." (Hebrews 13:2)

I'm so glad I'm one of those strangers you have "entertained" online!

    1. That's so sweet! I feel the same about you and what you have shared all these years! Even through cyberspace , God crossed our paths and I'm glad he did!
