No Snow, Just Melting Snow man

No, there was no snow in Louisiana today, but there were Melting Snowman Cookies. Brandy at The Mood Fashionita posted these adorible and fun melting cookies yesterday on her blog. Today my granddaughter and I had a lot of fun making them.

Made with a classic sugar cookie's  and topped with royal icing (allow the frosting to dribble down the cookie for a puddle effect). The marshmallow heads are popped into the microwave for 20 seconds to give it a wonky shape. Add final features using decorative icing.
We melted the marshmallow than quickly while it was hot, added the eyes , nose, mouth.

It took a lot of hands to get those tiny eyes on

These were the finished cookies Brandy and her little assistant made....
These were my little baker's master pieces. She told me she really liked making them and that was fun, Nana! I love sharing cookie time with her. I asked her she would bring her little girl one day to make cookies with me...She said she would! I love being a NANA  !!!!
A cookie that will make Santa proud....
