The Clock is ticking

I read on line recently, "That Time Never Stops". That the moving hand that never stops reminds us that life keeps going. For Billions of years the message is clear that time keeps moving forward and we all live such short lives so we need to make the best of what we do today. Every second of the day counts!
I feel that clock ticking more in my life now than it ever has. My days are spent scheduling and planing the next second, the next hour. Get up and out the door by 6 am to walk and run. Back by 7 and leave again at 8 for swim aerobics.. Back by 10 and catch up cleaning the house by 12. Lunch to fix, yard to keep, grocery's to buy, cleaning to pick up, prescriptions to fill, and all this by 3. Then there's email to answer, blogs to write, and appointments to make. Dinner to cook, dishes to do, and maybe a TV show or two by 10. Bath to take and bed by 11 while trying to shut off my brain as I go over my daily list. Maybe I will fall to sleep by 1 or 2....dang, was that the alarm clock? Is it almost 6 already? Start all over, adding in the doctor appointments and getting my hair done. What's today? Not Friday already!
Clock needs winding... The Pendulum keeps moving...the ticking and the hands keep going....Time never STOPS!
I also read that by utilizing time to do something good is the best way to spend time. Use it to achieve your goals and help others. Non of us know when the clock stops and we run out of time!

  1. Very interesting, and true. It is also sad that most people (like myself) waist lots of precious time. Tic-tac, Tic-tac.....

  3. I kinda wish I could stop time, that would be kind of fun! Going around places, and no one is moving. Anyways, do you know of a good place to buy a biometric time clock? I've been looking all over the place for one.
